We are seeking qualified candidates for the Contract Instructor Pilot (CIP) position, requiring a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Job Description

The CIP will instruct students in cockpit procedures during simulator events for E-2C 2F110 OFT, E-2D 2F210 OFT, and E-2D 2F211 APT platforms. Responsibilities include demonstrating instructional ability, evaluating aircrew performance, and providing real-time feedback on tactical employment and safety decisions.

The ideal candidate must possess tactical expertise to instruct on current and future mission areas, including warfare command, tactical control, air intercept, strike warfare, carrier strike group defense, maritime employment, CSAR, OAS, airspace management, OCA/SEAD, CID, controlled approaches, and survivability.

Principal Duties
  • Conduct scheduled instructor-led training using various tools and systems.
  • Evaluate and improve student performance and training materials.
  • Deliver classroom and simulator instruction, including briefs, debriefs, and assessments.
  • Assist with simulator inspections, certifications, and special projects.
  • Perform NATOPS evaluations and other instructor duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must obtain instructor certification for assigned platforms.
  • Must hold a Top Secret Clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience as an E-2 NATOPS-qualified pilot or recent E-2 simulator instructor.
  • Designated Carrier Aircraft Plane Commander (CAPC) or Carrier Transport Plane Commander (CTPC).
  • Minimum of 800 flight hours in E-2 or C-2 aircraft and a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Preferred: NATOPS instructor qualification, tactical designations such as instructor CAPC, element lead, or WTI.
