SkyBridge Aviation LLC in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, seeks a Sheet Metal Modification Mechanic for a contractor role. Tasks include structural repairs, interior modifications, and aircraft sheet metal fabrication across rotary-wing aircraft.

You will follow approved methods and engineering drawings to deliver high-quality airworthiness and safety. Role requires 6+ years of relevant experience, ability to read drawings, and FAA background checks.

Competenze

• 6+ years of aircraft sheet metal or structural modification experience.
• Experience with aircraft structural repairs or heavy maintenance.
• Experience with interior installations or modification projects preferred.
• Helicopter experience preferred; fixed-wing experience also considered.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, SRMs, and technical manuals.
• Experience with drilling, riveting, sheet metal fabrication, and structural assembly.
• Must complete a 10-year background check and FAA drug test.
• Valid US driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Mansioni

• Perform sheet metal repairs, structural modifications, and interior modifications on rotary-wing aircraft.
• Fabricate, fit, trim, drill, countersink, and install structural components per repair methods.
• Remove/replace damaged skins, panels, doublers, brackets, and assemblies.
• Install/modify interior components including flooring, insulation, panels, cabinetry and seating provisions.
• Install rivets, fasteners, and structural hardware per aerospace standards.
• Read engineering drawings, blueprints, SRMs, and technical documentation.
• Layout, measure, drill, cut, and form aluminum and other materials.
• Ensure work complies with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and procedures.
• Document completed work and maintain maintenance records.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Collaborate with technicians to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
