The Governor's Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice (CCJJ) is seeking a detailed, highly motivated individual for the Contract/Grant Analyst II position. This full-time, benefitted role offers the possibility of remote work up to full-time. Applicants from rural areas are encouraged to apply. The position involves monitoring contracts and grants for compliance, as well as analyzing contractor performance.
Principal Duties
The Contract/Grant Analyst is a senior-level role responsible for writing, reviewing, and negotiating grants and agreements. The role also includes ensuring contract compliance and performance. Key responsibilities include:
Monitoring program budgets
Interpreting contracts
Writing, reviewing, and negotiating grants and agreements
Reviewing operations to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and control
Completing other duties as assigned
Travel up to 20% for site visits and compliance monitoring
The Ideal Candidate
2-5 years of professional experience in contract and grant review and monitoring
Positive attitude, resourcefulness, and willingness to serve as a team resource
Highly motivated with leadership qualities
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects
Detail-oriented with adaptability
Willingness to conduct research, learn continuously, and ask questions
Proficiency with Google Suite
Ability to develop or modify rules, policies, or standards
Preferences
Preference given to candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in related fields.
