Job summary

A leading staffing firm is looking for experienced fund accounting consultants for a top public accounting client. Roles are remote, hybrid, or on-site, and span multiple cities on the East Coast. Ideal candidates have significant experience in fund accounting and are willing to engage in 40 hours work per week on a 1099 contract basis.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in fund accounting for investment funds.
• Experience in analyzing trial balance activity and preparing financial statements.
• Ability to reconcile monthly activity and prepare analysis for investor reporting.

Responsibilities

• Participate in fund accounting projects 4-5 days per week.
• Work on financial statements and investor reporting.
• Ensure accuracy in reconciling monthly activities.

Role & Requirements

Beech Valley's client, a top public accounting firm, is seeking consultants with fund accounting experience at the Manager and Controller level in several cities in the Northeastern US region (NYC, Stamford, Boston, Philadelphia, D.C.) Details can vary depending on project but these roles are 1099 contract opportunities and typically require 4-5 days per week onsite at the client's location. 40 hours/week.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years relevant experience consistent with fund accounting for investment funds - analyzing trial balance activity, preparing financial statements, reconciling monthly activity, preparing analysis and support for investor reporting, etc.
