re:MIND seeks a Professional Facilitator Contract Position in the Greater Houston area. The role involves facilitating peer support groups for individuals dealing with depression and bipolar disorders, with sessions lasting 90 minutes weekly.

The facilitator must hold a Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work and be licensed or pursuing licensure (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or LMSW toward LCSW). Experience with group work is essential, and support for family members is also part of the program.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work is required.
• Currently licensed or pursuing licensure as LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LPC/LMSW or LMFT/LMSW Associate.
• Experience with facilitating groups is required.
• Knowledge of depression and bipolar disorders is preferred.

Job Description

re:MIND provides free peer support groups throughout the Greater Houston area. Our support groups assist individuals in managing symptoms of depression and bipolar disorders. Our groups are also open to family members and friends for support.

The Professional Facilitator is an LCSW, an LMSW working toward LCSW licensure, an LPC, an LPC Associate, an LMFT, or an LMFT Associate who facilitates support groups.

The Professional Support Group Facilitator plays an integral role in providing hope and support for individuals living with a mental disorder by helping to facilitate empowerment, education, compassion, and understanding among group members.

Each group is 90 minutes in duration and is held weekly.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work.
• Current licensure or associate licensure as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LPC Associate, LMFT Associate, or LMSW working toward LCSW licensure.
• Experience with group work.
• Knowledge of depression and bipolar disorder.

Compensation and Hours

$100 per support group facilitated
LPC, LCSW, or LMFT

$80 per support group facilitated
LPC Associate, LMSW, or LMFT Associate
