gpac is confidentially seeking a Litigation Associate in Nevada to join a respected law firm’s Collection, Eviction and Creditors' Rights practice. The position offers the opportunity to work from home while handling sophisticated matters and appearing in court as needed across the state of Nevada.

The ideal candidate has 4-6 years of experience, a JD, and admission to practice in Nevada. A flexible schedule and strong independence are valued for a busy, varied caseload.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in Nevada; other jurisdictions preferred but not required
• Experience with FDCPA/UCC is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Handle breach of contract, eviction and collection litigation from demand to judgment
• Appear in court (telephonic or in person) as required
• Prepare and argue Motions for Summary Judgment
• Manage caseload to meet goals and client expectations
• Handle escalated and time sensitive matters
• Take on other duties and special projects as needed

A well-established and highly regarded law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Collection, Eviction and Creditors' Rights practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to take on sophisticated matters while working from home.

The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience handling breach of contract, collections, and eviction with the ability to manage cases independently and contribute immediately. This role is best suited for someone who can hit the ground running and is comfortable taking ownership of a busy and varied caseload from home while appearing in court when necessary throughout the state of Nevada.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Handle breach of contract, eviction and collection litigation matters from demand through judgment.
• Attend court hearings (both telephonic and in person).
• Prepare and argue Motions for Summary Judgment.
• Manage assigned case load in manner that meets goals and client expectations.
• Handle escalated and time sensitive matters as needed.
• Other duties and special projects as needed.

Job Requirements

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Admission to practice law in the state of Nevada; admission in additional or multiple jurisdictions preferred but not required.
• Experience with the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act ("FDCPA") and Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code ("UCC") a plus but not required
