Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann Company, is hiring a Manufacturing Technician in Austin, TX for an 18-month contract. The role requires 2+ years in a manufacturing or engineering technician capacity, with strong mechanical and electrical skills.

The position involves test/assembly of electro-mechanical components, adherence to safety standards, and potential clean-room PPE usage. Shifts offered with hourly pay ranging from $23 to $28, plus differential for swing/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing technician or engineering technician role.
• 2+ years of experience
• HS diploma or AS degree.
• Mechanical skills
• Electrical/ Electronic skills
• Manufacturing & Assembly skills
• Troubleshooting.
• Physical demands and PPE requirements, including working in a clean room if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies and components using rout ine work orders, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair.
• Identify and correct errors; observe safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow operating instructions.
