Job summary

Xenter in Tucson is seeking an EEG/audiometry technician to support patient testing and data collection across clinics. You will help schedule patients, prepare them for EEG and audiometry, and ensure comfort and cooperation throughout procedures.

You will attach electrodes, monitor responses, and capture brain wave data while maintaining HIPAA-compliant records. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and cross-team collaboration in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of MA, Phlebotomy, or Vocational/Practical Nurse program.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to brain function.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for tests and explain pre-testing protocols.
• Prepare patients for EEG and audiometry procedures.
• Attach electrodes accurately according to standardized protocols.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust for safety and data quality.
• Operate EEG, HCU, and audiometry equipment to record data for diagnostic evaluation.
• Document procedures and patient information in compliance with HIPAA.
• Generate patient reports for review by physicians.
• Clean equipment and maintain infection control standards.
• Carry testing equipment between clinics as needed.
• Ensure equipment works and troubleshoot to maintain workflow.
• Phlebotomy knowledge and experience is a plus.
