Age of Learning, Inc. is seeking part-time Research Assessors to administer standardized assessments to children ages 4–5 at early childhood education centers across three metropolitan areas.

This contract-based role requires completing onboarding training and attending assessment windows. Baseline window Sept–Oct 2026 and follow-up March–April 2027; each window lasts 2–3 weeks with 15–25 hours per week during active periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in education, psychology, SLP, OT, counseling, or related field
• Experience working with young children (ages 3–6)
• Reliable personal transportation (mileage reimbursement provided)
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• English/Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) preferred for NYC applicants

Responsibilities

• Complete required Human Subjects and HR onboarding training (paid, completed prior to the first assessment window)
• Administer a standardized achievement assessment one-on-one with children ages 4–5 at participating early childhood education centers
• Attend required training sessions on assessment administration and scoring
• Travel to assigned early childhood education center(s) within your metropolitan area
• Participate in two intensive assessment windows: Baseline: September - October 2026; Follow-up: March–April 2027
