Johnson & Johnson MedTech- Electrophysiology (J&J MedTech-EP) business unit is recruiting for a Contract Director role. This position is remote and will be located in the North America region and report to the Director, US Contract Strategy.

Description

The Contract Director will lead negotiations, execution, and management of pricing strategies within large health systems, collaborating on disposable and capital contract strategies to maximize volume and market share. Responsibilities include leading contract negotiations with facilities, IDNs, and GPOs, and working closely with Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure compliant and effective contract strategies.

Major Responsibilities
  • Contract negotiation and management
  • Supporting account strategies to improve performance metrics
  • Negotiating contracts for various medical products and services
  • Monitoring contract compliance and performance
  • Building relationships with healthcare decision-makers
  • Collaborating with sales teams to develop account strategies
  • Providing contract education and training
Qualifications/Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in Business, Finance, or Marketing
  • At least 5 years of experience in Medical Technology sales or contracting, preferably in cardiovascular and electrophysiology
  • Experience with capital equipment, software, or disposable medical devices
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Understanding of the US healthcare market and legal/compliance requirements
  • Experience in account management, contracting, or sales management
  • Strong analytical and financial presentation skills
  • Ability to influence in a matrixed environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically
