Your Role at Baxter

The Lead, Contract Development, oversees the completion of redlines related to bid documents and direct/group purchasing organization agreements, primarily for Healthcare Systems and Technologies. This role provides analytical and strategic support to Commercial Operations and collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Legal teams.

Your Team

We support Sales Operations with strategic insights and work closely with Legal, Marketing, Finance, and other departments. We value teamwork, attention to detail, and personal and professional growth.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Redlining contract terms within the assigned portfolio; advising on contract provisions; liaising with external parties to negotiate terms.
  • Identifying legal and business issues, including operational risks, and seeking guidance as needed.
  • Supporting contract processing from drafting to finalization, including amendments and communication for implementation.
  • Providing efficient support to stakeholders, ensuring profitable and quality agreements.
  • Collaborating across departments and with external partners.
  • Participating in process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer relationships.
  • Understanding customer needs through sales communication.
  • Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience; Paralegal background preferred; healthcare experience a plus.
  • Experience in redlining commercial agreements, including third-party contracts.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail and customer satisfaction focus.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

We offer a competitive salary range of $88,000 - $121,000 annually, based on experience, location, and other factors. This role may include discretionary bonuses. For more information, speak with the recruiter during your application process.
