Your Role at Baxter

The Lead, Contract Development, is responsible for leading all completion of redlines concerning bid documents and direct/group purchasing organization off-template agreements for Healthcare Systems and Technologies. The Lead provides analytical and strategic support to the Commercial Operations functions and collaborates with teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Corporate Legal.

We support Sales Operations with analytical and strategic insights and work collaboratively with various functions including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Legal. We value teamwork, attention to detail, and personal and professional growth.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Redlining contract terms related to the assigned portfolio; advising the business on contract terms; working with external parties to resolve contractual differences.
  • Identifying potential legal or business issues, including operational risks, and seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Supporting contract processing from drafting to finalization, including redlining and amendments.
  • Communicating finalized contracts for implementation and maintenance.
  • Providing support to ensure profitable and quality agreements while maintaining excellent customer and stakeholder relationships.
  • Collaborating across departments, including Legal, Sales, and Finance.
  • Participating in process improvements to address procedural gaps and enhance efficiency.
  • Understanding customer needs and business opportunities through communication with Sales.
  • Creating and maintaining standard operating procedures.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience; Paralegal experience preferred; healthcare experience a plus.
  • Experience in redlining commercial agreements, including third-party contracts.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail, customer focus, and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

We offer a competitive salary range of $88,000 - $121,000 annually, with potential bonuses, based on location, skills, and experience. For more details, please consult with your recruiter.
