Job summary

George Fox University is seeking a Temporary Data Analyst in the Data Analytics Department. The role focuses on building reporting infrastructure to meet the data needs of government agencies, surveyors, accrediting bodies, and internal stakeholders at the Newberg campus.

You will develop low-overhead data processes, ensure data quality, and work across business units from customer-facing to technically oriented teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Experience reading and writing advanced SQL queries.
• Familiarity with Python.
• Report building or analytics experience.
• Systems/holistic approach to identify opportunities and evaluate solutions.
• Ability to develop strategies using evidence to aid decision making.
• Tenacious, iterative mentality for continuous improvement and focus on priorities.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize reporting requirements, data elements, and sources.
• Develop reproducible data-flows using enterprise tools to meet reporting needs.
• Test, monitor, and upgrade data-flows and reporting outputs.
• Collaborate with customers to analyze and visualize data clearly.
• Support IT and program management tasks, including research and demos.
• Assist in applying advanced predictive analytics and educate customers.
• Communicate respectfully with students, employees, and the public as a Christian role model.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
