Job summary

A leading healthcare provider near Akron is seeking a Contract CT Technologist. In this role, you will collaborate within a team to provide quality imaging services in support of a Radiologist, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has prior clinical radiology experience, necessary certifications, and a strong knowledge of medical terminology. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
• Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Must maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
• Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• CT ARRT Certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Must maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality images as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Support the Radiologist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.

Skills

Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment

Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology

Proficient computer skills

Education

Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT

CT ARRT Certification

CT ARRT Certification within 6 months of hire

BCLS (AHA) certification

One year of acute radiology experience preferred

Contract CT Technologist

Near Akron

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

The CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi‑disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images. The CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Education & Experience:

• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
• Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Effective 07/01/2015, CT ARRT Certification is required within 6-months of hire
• Must maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
• Proficient computer skills.
