Job summary

Sungrow is seeking a detail-oriented Credit and Collections Specialist to join our finance team on a 6-month contract in Arizona. The role focuses on accounts receivable management, risk mitigation, and timely collection of payments.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success. The candidate will work with cross-functional teams, including sales and customer service, to resolve billing issues while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• 3+ years of credit and accounts receivable experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP ECC or S4 Hana) a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collections.
• Contact customers to follow up on overdue payments and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare AR aging reports and maintain records of receivable activity.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service to resolve billing issues.
• Assist in disputes related to invoices, credits, returns.
• Escalate collection issues to management or legal as needed.
• Provide updates to management on account statuses and risks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
