Qualifications

• Active California CDPH CLS license required.
• Experience in high complexity clinical lab testing, preferably molecular diagnostics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform molecular genetic testing on clinical specimens.
• Follow SOPs for specimen handling, processing, testing analyses and recording results.
• Perform and document QC procedures in line with QA program.
• Complete assigned laboratory and non-laboratory tasks.
• Prepare reagents for testing.
• Engage in training and proficiency testing.
• Troubleshoot basic issues affecting test performance and document corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and participate in inspections.
• Work cooperatively in a team and support staff.
• Perform other site/lab duties as assigned.
