Job summary

A leading legal staffing provider has an immediate opportunity for California barred attorneys to work from home as a Staff Attorney for an AmLaw 100 firm. Responsibilities include drafting review protocols, conducting document reviews, and assisting with witness preparation. Candidates should have a JD/LLM, a California bar license, and 2+ years of relevant experience. The contract is expected to last over 5 months with a pay rate of $70 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in complex litigation matters.
• Prior role as staff attorney, associate, team lead, or project manager required.
• Reliable, high-speed internet access and dedicated office space necessary.

Responsibilities

• Draft Review Protocols for document analysis.
• Conduct 2nd Level review for ongoing litigation.

As one of the nation’s largest legal staffing providers, Hire Counsel has an immediate opportunity for California barred attorneys to work from home, with an AmLaw 100 law firm as a Staff Attorney.

Experience & Responsibilities

• Drafting Review Protocols
• Conducting Relativity searches & creating batches
• 2nd Level review of documents for relevance and privilege for ongoing litigation
• Conduct fact analysis and assist with witness preparation for depositions
• Identify key information and effectively communicate findings to the associates and partners
• Anticipated start date: upon successful completion of interview and review of conflict form
• Estimated duration: 5+ months
• Hours: 40 hours a week
• Location: working from home during PST
• Pay rate: $70

Qualifications

• JD/LLM from a U.S. accredited law school
• CA bar, active and in good standing
• 2+ years’ experience handling the responsibilities listed above on complex litigation matters
• Strong proficiency navigating Relativity
• Prior experience as a staff attorney, associate, team lead or project manager required
• Reliable, highspeed internet access, dedicated office space & either a PC with Windows 10 or higher or a MAC with Mojave 10.14 or higher
• No concurrent employment while working with Hire Counsel
