Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
Minimum of 3 years experience as an Architectural Technologist.
Proficient in CAD software: AutoCAD or Revit.
Knowledge of building codes and regulations.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development of architectural plans and drawings using computer-aided design CAD software
Conduct site visits to collect data and measurements for project planning and design
Collaborate with architects engineers and other professionals to ensure designs meet project requirements and regulations
Prepare detailed technical specifications for materials equipment and construction methods
Review contractor bids and proposals to ensure compliance with project specifications
Monitor progress of construction projects to ensure designs are being implemented correctly
Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during the construction process
Keep up-to-date with industry standards codes and regulations to ensure designs are compliant
