We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Architectural Technologist to join our team on a contract basis in the US. In this role you will work closely with our team of architects and engineers to assist in the design development and delivery of various architectural projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and engineers to create detailed technical drawings and plans for construction projects
• Utilize your knowledge of building codes and regulations to ensure compliance in all designs
• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information for project planning
• Prepare project proposals, budgets and timelines for client review
• Communicate with contractors, suppliers and other professionals involved in the construction process
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create 2D and 3D models of proposed designs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist
• Strong understanding of building materials, construction methods and building codes
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Additional Preferences

• Experience working on commercial or industrial projects
• Familiarity with sustainable design principles
• Ability to travel for site visits as needed

Salary

We are offering a competitive salary of $1100 per week for this contract position.
