The Division of Water Resources (WRe) is looking for a Contract/Grant Analyst to join its Finance and Administrative Team in Salt Lake City. The Contract/Grant Analyst is responsible for overseeing the creation of contracts and grants and performing various financial functions for the division. We are looking for a detail oriented and self‑motivated candidate.

Day-to-day responsibilities of this position:

• Write, review and/or negotiate grants, contracts and/or agreements.
• Work closely with individuals and teams within Water Resources as well as other outside agencies.
• Ensure all required aspects of a contract are completed according to necessary specifications and expectations.
• Review fiscal operations to ensure integrity, accuracy and control of data.
• Meet often with internal management and outside agencies to resolve problems and coordinate services.
• Monitor contract status and associated impacts on the budget to ensure compliance with the terms of the agreement
