Job summary

Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) seeks a seasoned Contract Administrator III to support the Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP). You will ensure commercial compliance and navigate complex contract structures for the Automated People Mover project.

You will thrive in a large-scale civil construction setting, applying strict change control, dispute assessment, and strategic collaboration with cross-functional teams to protect project goals and deliverables.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of contract experience in design, construction, and administration of large civil projects.
• Experience with alternative project delivery methods and the Owner/Developer contracting relationships.
• Ability to interpret civil, structural, and site utility plans; proficiency in project management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee DBFOM Agreement compliance; monitor non-compliance deductions and project close-out.
• Lead change control processes; analyze merit of developer change proposals; resolve relief event claims.
• Coordinate with functional teams to assess disputes and develop robust response strategies.
• Drive reporting; create contractual tracking for D&C and O&M phases, including payments and non-compliance occurrences.

• Education: B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
