Under the direction of the Senior Contract Administrator Manager, the Contract Administrator provides contract administration support across assigned departments and service lines. This role is responsible for promoting and ensuring adherence to ANTHC’s procurement policies, accurate planning, development, submission, execution, and closeout of contractual agreements.
The Contract Administrator serves as a critical liaison between departmental stakeholders, Contract Managers, and Contracting and Procurement Leadership to ensure all contracts are properly structured, compliant, and aligned with organizational policies and financial requirements. This position plays a key role in minimizing errors, reducing rework, and improving overall contract lifecycle efficiency through proactive collaboration, system utilization, and data-driven decision-making.
Identify inefficiencies in workflows that create delays and recommend process improvements. Support implementation of best practices to streamline contract lifecycle management. Drive standardization of procedures related to contract creation, amendments, extensions, and closeout. Facilitate actions as required. Contribute to system optimization efforts, including ERP enhancements and process automation. Provide systems support in needs review, application evaluation, testing, documentation, and new requester training.
Support full lifecycle management of contracts including development, initiation, execution, monitoring, amendment, and closeout. Ensure contracts are reviewed and proper action is taken to remain in compliance. Monitor contract status. Engage and support current contract KPIs to support contract management efforts. Provide reports and analytics in collaboration with contract managers to support vendor performance tracking/score carding. Assist with invoice matching and resolution to ensure proper payment.
Ensure all contracts adhere to procurement policies and regulatory requirements. Identify and elevate non-compliant risks. Support audit readiness through accurate documentation. Reinforce governance standards and proper contracting practices.
Develop, maintain, and analyze internal routine reports related to contract status, financial utilization, and any other applicable data. Following standardized data elements, ensure data integrity within contract management systems to support accurate and reliable reporting.
Maintain detailed and organized files, effectively submitting and managing data, preparing contract communication, and written reports on contractor performance as required. Perform special projects and other duties as assigned. Train new member of the Contract Administration Team on Policy, process, procedure and systems. Performs other duties as assigned.
Associate’s degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, or related field. Relevant experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
Contract Administrator II. Non-supervisory – Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in contract administration or related field. An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or training may be substituted for experience.
Contract Administrator II: Bachelor’s or advanced degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, or related field
Experience within healthcare or public sector contracting. Experience using Infor CloudSuite or similar ERP systems. Experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder contracting environments.
Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or similar certification
