Job summary

Seventh Sense, LLC seeks a Contract Administration professional to provide cradle-to-grave contracting support for NASA Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, FL. You will assist procurement officers with pre- and post-award actions under AWASS 2.0, relying on FRA and center policies.

The role requires a bachelor's degree (or HS diploma with experience), ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance, and strong writing/communication skills.

• Mid-level procurement experience
• On-site work in Merritt Island, FL as part of a team

In this role you will provide professional and administrative Contract Administration services to NASA Kennedy Space Center (KSC)in Merritt Island, FLpursuant to standard concepts, practices, and procedures as described within the Federal Acquisition Regulation and Center policyfor pre and post-award acquisitions. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

This position is onsite in Merritt Island, FL.Seventh Sense will support your commute by contributing over $1,500 annually to your Transportation FSA.

What You’ll Do:

Successful candidate will be assigned to support the Seventh Sense Team as a part of the NASA Agency-Wide Acquisition Support Services (AWASS) 2.0 program. We assist oursupportedKSC Office of Procurement contracting officers and contract specialists withactivities providing cradle-to-gravecontracting support.

Must Haves:

• Applicants must have a bachelor's degree and 4 years of equivalent experience OR a high school diploma and 8 years of equivalent experience
• Ability to gain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Mid-level procurement experience
• Ability to operate primarily on-siteas part of a team
• In depth working knowledge of one or more federal government writing systems
• Ability to quickly grasp procurement terms, methodologies, and processes, prepare contract files and associated electronic documentation and create procurement actions (e.g., contract, order, mod) for contract execution
• Knowledge and skill in researching basic acquisition procedures and requirements in the Federal Acquisition Regulations.
• Comfortable working with files on a SharePoint Site
• The candidate shall have excellent writing skills and be able to communicate effectively verbally
• Must be proficient in MS Teams, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and Adobe

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with NASA systems and processes is highly desired;NASA uses SAP, the NASA Contract Management System (NCMS). and NASA Enterprise Acquisition Repository (NEAR)
• Professional certification in contracting is highly desired
• Experience inNASA records management ishighly desired

Salary Range:

The proposedsalary range for this position is $48,000- $58,000per year. This range reflects factors such as geographic location, skills, experience, training, certifications, contract-specific affordability, and organizational needs.
