The purpose of this position is to administer commercial operations efforts for the power generation fleet in order to obtain the best overall value on behalf of internal customers. This position is responsible for the solicitation, negotiation, and management of moderate to high value and complexity contracts for the acquisition of materials, equipment, and critical services. This position focuses on fleetwide contracting supporting multiple generating facilities for high level, high impact procurements. This is an entry level position that works independently with minimal supervision. If hired as a mid‑level position based on experience, the position works independently with minimal supervision and may provide guidance and direction to other employees in support of high quality, timely and cost‑effective resource acquisition activities.
Contract Administrator position may be hired at level I/II/Senior. The position responsibilities listed below reflect those of the Contract Administrator I level. Additional/varying responsibilities may be included for other levels of the Contract Administrator role.
Normal office environment with occasional exposure to noise and elements of an electric generating facility requiring significant walking and traversing stairs in an industrial environment. Frequent travel (driving) to other generating facilities within the company to host meetings and project reviews. Infrequent overnight travel may be required.
