Job summary

Metronet is hiring a Contract Administrator to support fiber network expansion. The role involves preparing design estimates, work orders, and contract documents, processing requisitions, and ensuring timely contract approvals.

You will create and manage work orders, coordinate with project teams, and maintain systems like Production Tracker and Elixir. Strong Excel/Outlook/Adobe skills and independent teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Create work orders from design documents and send them to contractors.
• Coordinate with project teams to clarify work order requirements.
• Create purchase and change order requests in Oracle.
• Assign purchase order numbers to work orders.
• Ensure work orders are completed, documented, and properly filed.
• Maintain databases to track work order status and progress.
• Enter work orders into the Production Tracker and Elixir systems.
• Help contractors resolve issues with the Production Tracker.
• Help develop and improve processes and procedures to keep operations running smoothly.
• Support the Project Controls Director with assigned tasks.
• All other duties as assigned

Job Summary:

Contract Administrators support our fiber network expansion by preparing design estimates, work orders, and contract documents, processing purchase requisitions, and tracking transactions to ensure deadlines are met and contracts move through the approval process efficiently.

What you will be doing:

Create work orders from design documents and send them to contractors.

Coordinate with project teams to clarify work order requirements.

Create purchase and change order requests in Oracle.

Assign purchase order numbers to work orders.

Ensure work orders are completed, documented, and properly filed.

Maintain databases to track work order status and progress.

Enter work orders into the Production Tracker and Elixir systems.

Help contractors resolve issues with the Production Tracker.

Help develop and improve processes and procedures to keep operations running smoothly.

Support the Project Controls Director with assigned tasks.
