Job summary

Metronet in Evansville, IN is hiring for a Contract Administrator to support fiber network expansion. You will prepare design estimates, work orders, and contract documents, and manage purchase requisitions to ensure timely approvals.

Strong Excel, Outlook, and Adobe skills are required. You will create and track work orders, use Oracle and the Production Tracker/Elixir systems, and collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Oracle and procurement workflows.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Create work orders from design documents and send them to contractors.
• Coordinate with project teams to clarify work order requirements.
• Create purchase and change order requests in Oracle.
• Assign purchase order numbers to work orders.
• Ensure work orders are completed, documented, and properly filed.
• Maintain databases to track work order status and progress.
• Enter work orders into the Production Tracker and Elixir systems.
• Help contractors resolve issues with the Production Tracker.
• Help develop and improve processes and procedures to keep operations running smoothly.
• Support the Project Controls Director with assigned tasks.
• All other duties as assigned

Job Summary:

Contract Administrators support our fiber network expansion by preparing design estimates, work orders, and contract documents, processing purchase requisitions, and tracking transactions to ensure deadlines are met and contracts move through the approval process efficiently.
