Job summary

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contract administration point of contact for the Basic Contract and all subordinate task orders.
  • Coordinate with the Program Manager to ensure timely and accurate submission of contract reporting requirements.
  • Administer all aspects of the Basic Contract and task orders in accordance with FAR, agency supplements, and contract terms.
  • Review and ensure compliance with contract requirements, modifications, amendments, and obligations.
  • Prepare and coordinate proposals, contract modifications, task order responses, and other documentation.
  • Support negotiations with Government contracting officials and implement negotiated agreements.
  • Coordinate contract modifications, funding actions, option exercises, and performance changes.
  • Maintain contract files and audit-ready documentation; monitor performance and risks.
  • Collaborate with finance, HR, security, and program management to execute actions efficiently.
  • Track deliverables, deadlines, and milestones to ensure timely completion.
  • Provide guidance on contractual requirements and compliance matters.
  • Assist with invoice reviews, funding reconciliation, and contract administration activities.
  • Support Government audits, reviews, and compliance assessments.

Overview

The Contract Administrator will provide comprehensive contract administration support for the Basic Contract and all subordinate task orders. The Contract Administrator shall possess expertise in Federal acquisition regulations, contract terms and conditions, order procedures, proposal preparation, negotiations, and contract administration. The Contract Administrator will coordinate closely with the Program Manager to ensure timely and accurate reporting, contract compliance, and successful execution of all contractual requirements. The position serves as the primary point of contact for contract administration activities between the contractor and the Government.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contract administration point of contact for the Basic Contract and all subordinate task orders.
  • Coordinate with the Program Manager to ensure timely and accurate completion and submission of all contract reporting requirements.
  • Administer all aspects of the Basic Contract and task orders in accordance with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), agency supplements, and contract terms and conditions.
  • Review, interpret, and ensure compliance with contract requirements, modifications, amendments, and contractual obligations.
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate proposals, contract modifications, task order responses, and other contractual documentation.
  • Support contract negotiations with Government contracting officials and ensure implementation of negotiated agreements.
  • Coordinate contract modifications, funding actions, option exercises, and period of performance changes.
  • Maintain complete and accurate contract files, records, and documentation to ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and identify potential risks or issues requiring management attention.
  • Coordinate with finance, human resources, recruiting, security, and program management personnel to ensure contractual actions are executed efficiently and accurately.
  • Track contract deliverables, reporting deadlines, and contractual milestones to ensure timely completion.
  • Provide guidance to program management regarding contractual requirements, compliance matters, and acquisition regulations.
  • Assist with invoice reviews, contract funding reconciliation, and other contract administration activities as required.
  • Support Government audits, contract reviews, and compliance assessments.
  • Ensure all contractual actions are processed in accordance with company policies, Government regulations, and contractual requirements.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this position.
Education And/or Experience
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Acquisition Management, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Federal Government contract administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience administering U.S. Government contracts, including IDIQ contracts and task orders.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), agency supplements, and Government contracting principles.
  • Experience with proposal preparation, contract negotiations, contract modifications, and contract closeout activities.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex Government contracts with multiple task orders.
  • Strong knowledge of contract terms and conditions, compliance requirements, and reporting procedures.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively coordinate across Government and contractor organizations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting strict contractual deadlines.
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast‑paced environment with multiple stakeholders.

Security Clearance

TOP SECRET Clearance Level Required.

  • Must have a current United States Government TOP SECRET Personnel Security Clearance.
  • Must have a current U.S. Government Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)/ Tier 5 or equivalent.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to maintain required Security Clearance/access approvals.
