Job summary

Ralliant Law & Compliance is seeking a Contract Administrator to review, negotiate, and manage customer, partner, supplier, and services agreements. This hybrid role requires in-office presence at one of several headquarters sites, with strong adherence to corporate playbooks and fallback positions.

You will report to the Associate General Counsel – Americas for the Sensors & Safety Systems operating companies.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated commercial contracting experience, including reviewing, redlining, and negotiating customer, supplier, partner, or services agreements.
  • Sound judgment in assessing contractual risk, applying approved playbook positions, and escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential company information with discretion.
  • Comfort using legal operations technology and a practical, inquisitive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to prioritize concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

  • Review assigned commercial contracts, identify risks, and lead negotiations on routine to moderately complex agreements.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for contract negotiations, coordinating with sales, finance, operations, compliance, and legal stakeholders.
  • Apply and maintain negotiation playbooks, clause guidance, and escalation frameworks for key terms.
  • Support negotiation and administration of partner, distributor, reseller, and other channel agreements.
  • Provide timely communications to sales on matter status, contract requirements, and next steps.
  • Receive and triage legal inquiries, coordinating with other departments as needed.
  • Perform due diligence tasks and coordinate post-acquisition integrations.
  • Support contract lifecycle management tools and AI contract review processes.
  • Track legal KPIs and recommend process improvements.
  • Maintain global templates and playbooks in coordination with law team.

Job description

Ralliant Law & Compliance is seeking a Contract Administrator with strong commercial contracting experience, legal operations skills, and sound judgment to support customer, partner, supplier, and other business-facing agreements. This role will review, negotiate, and manage contracts in accordance with corporate playbooks and approved fallback positions, and will report to the Associate General Counsel – Americas with a focus on Ralliant’s Sensors & Safety Systems operating companies.

This is a hybrid position requiring at least three days per week in office at the headquarters of one of the following Sensors & Safety Systems operating companies: Qualitrol (Fairport, NY), Gems Setra (Plainville, CT), Anderson‑Negele (Fultonville, NY), or Hengstler‑Dynapar (Elizabethtown, NC).

Responsibilities
  • Review assigned commercial contracts, identify legal and business risks, and lead negotiations on routine to moderately complex customer, supplier, channel partner, and services agreements in line with corporate standards and approved fallback positions.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned contract negotiations, coordinating with sales, finance, operations, compliance, and legal stakeholders to resolve open issues and support deal velocity.
  • Apply and maintain negotiation playbooks, clause guidance, and escalation frameworks for key commercial terms, including payment, liability, indemnity, warranty, confidentiality, data protection, compliance, and order of precedence.
  • Support negotiation and administration of partner, distributor, reseller, and other channel agreements, including tracking approvals, renewals, amendments, and commercial obligations.
  • Provide timely, practical communications to sales teams on matter status, contract requirements, and negotiation next steps.
  • Receive, triage, and respond to legal matter inquiries, coordinating with other departments as needed.
  • Perform due diligence tasks and coordinate post‑acquisition integrations.
  • Support contract lifecycle management tools, AI contract review tools, and Sensors & Safety Systems legal matter intake processes.
  • Track legal KPIs and recommend process or system improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Maintain global legal templates and playbooks in coordination with Ralliant Law & Compliance team members.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, including duties for broader Ralliant Law & Compliance division.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated commercial contracting experience, including reviewing, redlining, and negotiating customer, supplier, partner, or services agreements.
  • Sound judgment in assessing contractual risk, applying approved playbook positions, and escalating legal, financial, compliance, or business issues when appropriate.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential company information with absolute discretion.
  • Comfort using legal operations technology and a practical, inquisitive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize concurrent projects, drive completion, and report progress and risks.
  • Ability to work confidently with leaders and cross-functional teams and contribute to operational improvements.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Must be a U.S. person, as defined under applicable U.S. export control laws and regulations.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience or paralegal certification may be considered.
  • 5-7 years of experience in commercial contracting, contract administration, legal operations, sales operations, procurement, or a related business-facing role; in-house legal department experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with legal operations tools, including contract lifecycle management tools, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power BI, and AI contract review tools preferred.

Pay Range

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 58500.00-108500.00
