About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to support our U.S. Legal team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems, particularly Ironclad, and a strong understanding of contract processes within a corporate or life sciences environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the contract life cycle process for the U.S. Legal team using an integrated procure-to-pay system.
  • Oversee the end-to-end contract process, including tracking status, responding to internal queries, and managing document execution via DocuSign.
  • Ensure all executed contracts are properly recorded, filed, and entered into the contract database with accurate metadata.
  • Enhance the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) process using Ironclad to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing a variety of transactional agreements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Compliance, and other internal departments to support contract execution.
  • Maintain a high level of organization, accuracy, and confidentiality throughout the contract management process.
  • Support the U.S. Legal team with special projects and ad hoc requests as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in contract administration, preferably in a legal or life sciences environment.
  • Hands‑on experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems — Ironclad highly preferred; SOM experience a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of contract management best practices and legal requirements.
  • Excellent project management and multitasking skills in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), DocuSign, and other e‑signature or contract tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • A team player with a proactive mindset, professionalism, and confidentiality.
