Oshkosh Defense, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a summer internship in contract administration related to government contracts across Army, Marine Corps, B2B and international clients. You will assist in preparing reports, reviewing contracts, and coordinating information with internal teams.

  • Summer opportunity; willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI for full duration of internship.
  • Must be willing to work full-time during summer.
  • Graduation date of December 2027 or later

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and coordinating various reports and other information as required by contract and corporate management.
  • Review contracts for accuracy.
  • Determine action if correction is required and communicate to appropriate team member.
  • Track and follow-up on error resolution.
  • Prepare additional data and/or correspondence as required by management or contract
  • Prepare Quotation Requests and proposals
  • Research, review, and disseminate contract information to company personnel
  • Review and interpret contract and government acquisition regulation language and disseminate to personnel
  • Load and maintain CSOs in JDE
  • Develop and maintain information databases as required by contract

The Oshkosh Defense contract administration group is the liaison between the company and the government customer for awarding, modifying, and administering contracts across our government customer base (Army, Marine Corps, Business to Business, and International).

Assist contract administrators in the administration of assigned government contracts.

Serve as a support liaison between customers and the company in providing information concerning pricing, government contracts, scheduling, forecasting, and other requests.

YOUR IMPACT
  • Assist in preparing and coordinating various reports and other information as required by contract and corporate management and ensure timely delivery and distribution
  • Review contracts for accuracy.
  • Determine course of action if correction is required and communicate to appropriate team member.
  • Track and follow-up on error resolution.
  • Assist in preparing additional data and/or correspondence as may be required by management or the contract
  • Assist in preparing Quotation Requests and proposals
  • Assist in researching, reviewing, and disseminating contract information to company personnel as required
  • Assist in reviewing and interpreting contract and government acquisition regulation language and disseminate to company personnel as required
  • Load and maintain Customer Sales Orders (CSOs) in JDE
  • Assist in development and maintaining of various information databases as required by contract

*This position has a Summer 2027 start date

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Student in a Junior standing or higher working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Law, Accounting, Finance or related field
  • This is a Summer opportunity. Individual must be willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI for the full duration of the internship.
  • Must be willing to work full-time during summer.
  • Graduation date of December 2027 or later
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
  • Military experience is a plus
  • Resourceful, with the ability to work independently, learn quickly, and prioritize workload
  • Accurate, with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to function in a small team environment; must be able to determine when to attain consensus
  • Completed a Quantitative Business Analysis class (Excel) or equivalent or have had equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Pay Range: $18.00 - $37.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
