Job summary

Sage GroupHealthCare Staffing seeks an Inpatient Pharmacist for a travel assignment in St Ignace, MI. 2+ years hospital pharmacy experience and Epic proficiency are preferred. Schedule is 4x10s (Mon-Thu) with 40 hours weekly; travel/housing stipends may apply for eligible travelers.

Requires MI licensure, PharmD or equivalent, and BLS certification. This is a full-time travel contract with a 13-week term and competitive weekly pay.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review prescription orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Enter orders for handwritten physician orders.
• Screen for allergies, interactions, and correct dosage; document interventions.
• Prepare and dispense prescribed medications for inpatients and community.
• Provide guidance and supervision to technicians.
• Counsel patients regarding drug therapy when requested.
• Operate automated dispensing machines and oversee their use.
• Follow quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and hazardous drug disposal procedures.
• Lift and move heavy items as needed (up to 50 pounds).

Pay Rate:Range $3320 to $3400 Weekly Gross Pay based on a 40-hour work week ( Includes Non-taxabletravel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Shift timings: 10 hours; Days, Typically, 6.45 am to 5.15 pm

Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 4 X 10-hr shifts per week, Monday - Thursday, Some weekend flexibility may be needed

Job Description
