Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in North Carolina seeks a Machine Operator I to set up and operate production machines. Candidates should have knowledge of contour banding and basic manufacturing skills. Responsibilities include ensuring safety and quality of operations, maintaining production records, and keeping the work area organized. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, and training will be provided. A high school diploma or GED is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in manufacturing and/or assembly.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Completes work area set up.
• Operates and feeds the machine safely and efficiently.
• Stacks completed products and ensures quality compliance.
• Maintains a clean work environment and equipment.
• Records production activities as required.

Skills

Knowledge of contour banding

Proficient in computer usage

Ability to read blueprints/work orders

Basic math skills

Education

High school diploma/GED

Small hand tools/routers

Cutting knives

Glue guns/applicators
