Job summary

Monogram Foods is seeking a candidate for a Training & SOP Specialist role in Chandler, MN. You will identify training needs, develop SOPs/MOPs, and write JIBDs to standardize procedures across production lines.

The role includes LOTO program creation and training delivery with SMEs to certify staff. The position requires teaching experience, strong MS Office skills, and bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish).

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in business, science or engineering field. Equivalent experience in manufacturing considered.
• Math skills including basics and data charting.
• Training experience in teaching job-task skills in a business environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bi-Lingual a plus - English/Spanish.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and evaluates processes and positions for determining training needs.
• Researches SOPs, MOPs to determine proper procedures for tasks.
• Modifies/writes SOP/MOP documentation as needed.
• Develops training matrices with Training manager to plan training and certification.
• Writes Job Instructional Breakdowns (JIBDs) based on training matrices.
• Partners with SMEs to deliver training using JIBDs and AV materials; certifying authority.
• Audits procedural alignment post-certification with supervisors/leads.
• Maintains database of SOPs, MOPs, JIBDs and audit schedules.
• Standardizes how the plant trains and develops employees in procedures.
• Teach LOTO classes and assist with orientation; write LOTO programs.
• Become a Train-the-Trainer for PIT; interact with all departments on safety issues.
