Job summary

IDEMIA Secure Transactions, a division of IDEMIA Group, seeks a Continuous Improvement Supervisor to optimize manufacturing systems with Lean tools. You will coach the CI team, plan and oversee projects, and collaborate with multiple teams to eliminate bottlenecks and improve flow.

Responsibilities include analyzing OTD/OEE data, leading problem-solving, and applying 5S, Kaizen, SMED, and other Lean techniques. Strong leadership and communication are required.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing. Green or Black Belt Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of one year of leadership experience
  • Technical skills allowing team-work with the engineering department
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and influence teams
  • Good communication skills: be able to run meetings/trainings, drive actions plans with many contributors
  • Aptitude for troubleshooting and solving problems
  • Proficient with computer systems and programs (MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, querying databases, ERP systems, etc.)
  • English (read, written, spoken) mandatory. Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prioritize, and oversee CI projects to meet objectives and KPIs.
  • Improve Lean/Six Sigma driven processes to reduce waste and cycle times.
  • Collaborate with teams to improve production/logistics flow and remove bottlenecks.
  • Analyze daily production data (OTD, OEE, productivity) and propose actions.
  • Lead problem-solving sessions and drive corrective actions.
  • Utilize Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, SMED, TPM, Poka Yoke, PDCA).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on shop floor improvements (CAPEX possible).
  • Work 4x shifts when needed to drive improvements.
  • Report risks and status to Senior Manager Quality & CI.

Job Overview

The Continuous Improvement Supervisor focuses on optimizing the interconnected components of a manufacturing system (e.g. personnel work flow or ergonomics, materials logistics, production process sequence, and equipment layouts, etc.) via Lean Manufacturing tools.

Key Mission
  • Supervise, coach, and develop CI team members, ensuring effective execution of CI initiatives
  • Plan, prioritize, and oversee CI projects to achieve operational objectives and KPI targets
  • Improve implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and utilization of Six Sigma methodologies to develop and maintain robust manufacturing processes to increase productivity, reduce variation, eliminate waste, and minimize assembly and test cycle times.
  • Continuously develop a better production/logistics flow in collaboration with the other teams to remove operational bottlenecks and improve floor performance
  • Analyze the daily production data regarding OTD, OEE, productivity and propose action plans
  • Lead problem-solving sessions and support the team in identifying corrective actions for recurring operational issues
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools to drive improvement (SIM, 5S, Kaizen, SMED, TPM, Poka Yoke, PDCA, A3/8D analysis, etc.)
  • Lead and collaborate with cross functional internal teams focused on shop floor factory improvements, which could include CAPEX.
  • Work in 4x shifts when necessary to drive improvements
  • Report risks and project status directly to the Senior Manager Quality and Continuous Improvement
