Job summary

TruBlu HR Solutions seeks a hands-on Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive initiatives in an industrial manufacturing setting. You will lead Kaizen events, develop a pipeline of improvement projects, and track KPIs with plant leadership to lift safety, quality, productivity and efficiency.

Ideal candidates bring 3–7 years of CI experience, Lean tools expertise, ERP familiarity, and strong training and communication skills to train teams and sustain improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of Continuous Improvement experience, preferably within a manufacturing or plant environment.
  • Proven experience leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience with Lean manufacturing tools and methodologies.
  • Experience planning and leading Kaizen events.
  • Strong training, communication, and project leadership skills.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects.
  • Develop and maintain a continuous improvement project pipeline.
  • Create, track, and maintain KPIs and departmental performance metrics.
  • Implement and sustain daily management processes.
  • Train employees and leadership on Lean and continuous improvement tools.
  • Develop training materials and support ongoing employee development.
  • Work hands-on with employees to identify process improvements and eliminate waste.
  • Analyze operational data and develop countermeasures when performance targets are not met.
  • Partner with plant leadership, supervisors, and production teams to improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Monitor and validate production and downtime data.
  • Help establish and maintain a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Support leadership with problem-solving initiatives and process improvements.
  • Promote safe work practices and compliance with company safety standards.
  • Use data-driven approaches to identify opportunities and measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.

Job description

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Pay: $25–$45/hour

TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join an industrial manufacturing environment. This position will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, leading Kaizen events, developing and tracking performance metrics, and helping teams implement sustainable process improvements.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Continuous Improvement professional who enjoys working directly with employees and leadership to identify opportunities, eliminate waste, improve processes, and create measurable results.
