Please note: Interested candidates must be located on the Western Coast of the United States, in either Pacific or Mountain Standard Time.

The Manager works closely with business leaders to develop a strategy and plan for continuous improvement by leveraging methodologies and best practices that drive execution of successful customer-centric strategies across our business. This role is responsible for improving quality and efficiency measured through customer satisfaction and loyalty across all customer segments. The individual should be well-grounded in the healthcare supply chain environment, aware of industry changes, passionate about customer-centricity and the associate experience, and capable of driving towards Cencora's vision. Additionally, they should have sufficient experience to foster a culture of excellence within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Continuous Improvement & Execution (50%)
    • Utilize Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and process mining tools to streamline workflows, identify inefficiencies, and analyze data for improvement opportunities.
    • Understand business needs and develop data analysis and reporting strategies to transform raw data into actionable insights.
    • Apply industry knowledge to enhance performance.
    • Manage a portfolio of improvement projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and align with strategic goals.
    • Identify process improvement opportunities, oversee planning and execution, and ensure quality standards are met.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain transparent communication on progress, challenges, and results.
    • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, or Total Quality Management methodologies to analyze and improve processes.
    • Design and implement sustainable process improvements to reduce rework and cycle times while improving quality.
    • Develop and verify countermeasures for process gaps.
    • Regularly analyze performance data to measure impact and identify future opportunities.
    • Use data-driven problem-solving to identify root causes and implement solutions.
    • Create project artifacts such as charters, metrics, data collection plans, and training materials.
    • Establish dashboards and reporting metrics to track initiative effectiveness.
    • Facilitate group meetings and workshops on advanced continuous improvement topics.
  2. Change Management (30%)
    • Develop and implement strategies to help teams adapt to new processes and technologies.
    • Support individuals and teams through organizational transitions with detailed action plans and resources.
    • Establish support systems to assist employees before, during, and after changes.
    • Partner with teams to ensure alignment and successful change execution.
    • Address resistance proactively.
    • Act as a change agent to guide cultural transformation and foster acceptance.
    • Promote a positive attitude towards change, encouraging innovation and adaptability.
  3. Mentoring/Training (20%)
    • Mentor team members across the organization, including those outside direct reporting lines.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
    • Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions.
    • Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives.
    • Demonstrate leadership by fostering unity and professional development.
Education and Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Certified Black Belt (preferred) or Green Belt (required) in Lean methodologies.
  • Experience in healthcare supply chain environment preferred.
  • Experience in process improvement and change initiatives strongly preferred.

  • Proven project management skills with a record of quality and operational improvements.
  • Structured problem-solving abilities and good judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Project, Excel, Word, Visio, Access, PowerPoint.
