Job summary

Clearbridge Executive Search is seeking a results-driven Continuous Improvement Leader to join our client’s manufacturing division in the United States. The role focuses on shaping the plant-wide CI strategy, deploying Hoshin-Kanri, and driving standardized work and Kaizen initiatives across teams.

You will mentor cross-functional groups, manage capital projects, and track KPIs while ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience working in a continuous improvement role.
• Certification in continuous improvement methods such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Master, or equivalent.
• Strong leadership abilities with effective team management skills.
• Ability to speak conversational French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a plant-wide CI strategy aligned with goals using Hoshin-Kanri to set direction.
• Lead and mentor teams in CI practices, promoting standard work, Kaizen projects, and employee-driven ideas.
• Build and manage the CI project portfolio and local CAPEX to deliver on time with measurable results.
• Assess processes, reinforce Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen, ensuring proper CI systems implementation.
• Track KPIs, maintain visual boards, and report progress to senior leadership.
• Drive CI culture through training and cross-functional collaboration while ensuring food safety and quality.

Job description

• Develop and implement a plant-wide continuous improvement strategy aligned with corporate goals, using tools like Hoshin-Kanri to set direction and communicate priorities
• Lead and mentor teams in continuous improvement practices, promoting standard work, Kaizen projects, and employee-driven suggestions to strengthen engagement
• Build, prioritize, and manage the improvement project portfolio-CI initiatives and local CAPEX-ensuring projects close on time and deliver measurable results
• Assess manufacturing and operational processes, reinforce Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies, and ensure proper implementation of all CI systems and tools
• Track and validate KPIs with relevant departments, maintain visual management boards, and regularly report progress and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Drive cultural adoption of continuous improvement through training, workshops, and cross-functional collaboration, influencing stakeholders without direct supervisory authority while meeting all food safety and quality requirements
