Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Position Overview

The Continuous Improvement Specialist is responsible for driving process improvements and operational excellence within our manufacturing plant environment. This role involves analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies that enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Lead Kaizen events and workshops to engage teams in process improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Monitor and measure the impact of improvement initiatives and report on progress to management.
  • Provide training and mentorship on continuous improvement techniques to staff.
  • Support the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with teams.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
