Job summary

Permobil is seeking a Lean Manufacturing/Operations leader to drive continuous improvement across the EMEA region. You will coach teams, deploy the Permobil Lean System, and lead strategic cross-functional projects that improve manufacturing performance and product quality.

You will collaborate with the Operations Management team to develop an ambitious operations strategy and ensure execution aligns with business goals, customer needs, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master degree with 10 years in Lean Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering or relatedfield
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
• Project Management Skills
• 6 sigma knowledge on measurement of processes and systematic problem solving preferred
• Lean Manufacturing principles
• Change management
• Project Management experience and documented skills
• Experience with forecasting, demand planning, production planning, MES, MRP and warehouse management systems

Responsibilities

• Coach managers/supervisors/team leads in systematic problem solving (6-sigma techniques)
• Drive continuous improvement for SOPs and standardized work
• Develop Lean Champions in the Region
• Lead and deploy the Permobil Lean System as the Lean Master in the Region
• Lead Kaizen Events and cross-functional improvement projects
• Lead 6-sigma projects with cross-functional teams
• Drive systems enabling operational improvements thru justified functional needs
• Be an active member of the Operations Management team and drive initiatives toward business objectives
• Develop Operations Strategy for the EMEA region

Key Tasks

• Coach managers/supervisors/team leads and key talents in systematic problem solving (such as 6-sigma techniques)
  
• Drive continuous improvement for relevant Standard Operating Procedures and help managers/supervisors to establish

• Lead Strategic Projects such as cross-functional improvement projects, footprint changes etc.

• Be an active team member of the Operations Management team and drive initiatives that will help us achieve our short term and long-term business objectives
• Instrumental in developing our Operations Strategy for the EMEA region

Your Background
