DSJ Global is recruiting a hands-on Continuous Improvement Manager for a leading US manufacturing organization. The role focuses on driving operational excellence on the plant floor, partnering with site leadership and cross‑functional teams to lift safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years leading Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, or related initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, Visual Management, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional improvement projects with measurable business impact.

  • Lead and facilitate Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.
  • Develop and coach hourly and salaried employees on Lean principles, problem-solving methodologies, and continuous improvement tools.
  • Drive strategy deployment by translating business objectives into actionable improvement projects and roadmaps.
  • Implement and sustain daily management systems, visual management tools, standard work, and accountability processes.
  • Identify operational improvement opportunities and deliver measurable results in productivity, quality, cost reduction, and customer service.
  • Lead cross-functional teams involving Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and communicate project outcomes to leadership.
  • Benchmark and implement best practices to improve operational performance and sustain gains.

Job description

A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to drive operational excellence initiatives across a complex production environment.   • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, Visual Management, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional improvement projects with measurable business impact.
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and change management skills.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management abilities.
