Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement projects under the guidance of the Continuous Improvement Manager.
• Data collection and analysis of production processes to identify trends and improvements.
• Create and update process maps to visualize current workflows.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing techniques such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Prepare and maintain documentation including project plans, reports and SOPs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality and engineering.
• Assist in organizing training sessions and workshops on CI methodologies.

The Role

• Support CI Projects: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of continuous improvement projects under the guidance of the Continuous Improvement Manager.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze data related to production processes, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
• Process Mapping: Create and update process maps to visualize current workflows and identify areas for improvement.
• Lean Manufacturing Techniques: Participate in the implementation of Lean Manufacturing techniques such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain documentation related to continuous improvement activities, including project plans, reports, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Training and Workshops: Assist in organizing and conducting training sessions and workshops on continuous improvement methodologies for plant personnel.

Schedule :

• Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (flexible)
• Summer Internship

What You’ll Bring

Essential Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or other related fields
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
