Qualifications

Summary:

The Lean Six Sigma Intern will support the P&S North American team in identifying and implementing process improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to learn and apply critical skills in process analysis, problem-solving, and project management within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in identifying areas for process improvement.
• Collect and analyze data to support improvement projects.
• Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving sessions.
• Support the development and implementation of process improvement plans.
• Assist in the documentation of process changes and improvements.
• Monitor and report on project progress and results.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
• Participate in Lean Six Sigma training and workshops as required.
• Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Prior experience or coursework in Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
