Job Description:

As the first line of technical leadership within the value stream, the Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for reducing unplanned line losses and providing technical continuity to enable consistent performance and delivery of value leadership savings.

What are we looking for?

Minimum

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Supply, or a technical field
• 1-2 years experience working in a technical manufacturing environment
• Project Management experience or leading continuous improvement initiatives
• Detailed technical capability and understanding of the plant
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear ability to relate to and motivate people

Preferred

• Master’s degree
• Experience starting up new facilities
• Prior direct management experience

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Drive loss elimination for the assigned area, including Line Loss Analysis and development of 90-day action plans to address losses and build associate capability
• Lead triad (CI, Maintenance, and Production Lead) for preventative follow-up on all value stream technical breakdowns, escalating for support/action through Maintenance Team Leaders or Reliability Engineers as required
• Own and maintain all MSE standards (FI, FMOS, AM) for the value stream
• Own ideation and execution of improvement projects to deliver the annual value leadership target for the value stream
• Support Commission, Validation, and Startup (CVS) activities for capital projects
• Champion all Safety and Quality standards and objectives for the area
• Serve as LM1 for Continuous Improvement Specialists, including their development and performance evaluations

The base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between USD 78,045 and USD 107,309. Actual offers may vary based on individual factors such as market location, knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation may include additional elements like variable pay, medical and dental benefits, 401k participation, and paid time off, depending on the position and work schedule. Details will be provided if an offer is extended.
