The Judge Group is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer for a manufacturing company in Starkville, Mississippi. In this role, you will lead process optimization, manage capital projects from concept through startup, and collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, SHEQ, and R&D to drive safety, quality, and production improvements.

The Judge Group is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer for a manufacturing company located in the Starkville, MS area.

Responsibilities

• Lead process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and production performance.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, SHEQ, and R&D teams to support plant objectives and strategic initiatives.
• Manage improvement and capital projects from concept through startup and implementation.
• Conduct process evaluations, engineering studies, and pilot trials to identify operational enhancements.
• Utilize process modeling and data analytics tools to evaluate system performance and support decision-making.
• Develop project plans, scopes of work, operating procedures, and change management documentation.
• Coordinate activities with contractors, vendors, and engineering partners on project execution.
• Support process safety efforts, commissioning activities, control system improvements, and process troubleshooting.
• Present project recommendations and progress updates to stakeholders and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Chemical Engineering strongly preferred.
• Experience within chemical processing, chlor-alkali, TiO₂ pigment production, or similar manufacturing environments preferred.
• Proven background leading process improvement or capital projects from planning through completion.
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and Management of Change (MOC) programs.
• Familiarity with process simulation, industrial control systems, and statistical analysis tools.
• Strong communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement principles.
