Job summary

Saint-Gobain Aerospace is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer in the United States to lead WCM and Industry 4.0 initiatives, driving manufacturing efficiency and quality. You will collaborate cross-functionally to implement digital solutions and optimize performance across production lines.

The role requires a Engineering degree with 3+ years in manufacturing, experience with automation and data systems, and a strong Lean mindset.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with automation, data exchange, and closed-loop systems.
  • Demonstrated understanding of LEAN manufacturing concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in numerous mediums.

Responsibilities

  • Lead our WCM and Industry 4.0 strategy & implementation.
  • Typically, responsible for managing 3-5 projects simultaneously.
  • Review and standardize manufacturing processes for compliance.
  • Implement digital solutions for process optimization and real-time data monitoring.
  • Develop and implement training programs for new and existing production personnel.
  • Utilize data driven problem solving methodologies to optimize key metrics.
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement 5S and AM activities.

Job description

The Continuous Improvement Engineer will be responsible for leading initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and quality.

The primary responsibility of this role is to analyze, design and/or improve manufacturing processes utilizing Industry 4.0 and/or World Class Manufacturing (WCM) strategies to streamline operations and reduce waste.

This role will be responsible for leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement digital solutions to optimize performance.

This role will also be responsible for reviewing and standardizing manufacturing processes while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
