Job summary

Perrigo in Michigan is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to provide technical support for incident and deviation investigations across our manufacturing facilities. You will identify root causes, develop and implement CAPAs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, run risk assessments, and apply Lean Six Sigma to drive continuous improvement in our self-care manufacturing processes.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or related field.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences and manufacturing processes.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; ability to work with staff at all levels.
• Familiarity with cGMP and FDA regulations; experience with investigations and process improvements.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and SAP preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal guidance and meet deadlines.

Description Overview

The Continuous Improvement Engineer provides technical support as it relates to incident/deviation investigationsfor all commercialized products at Perrigo facilities within Michigan.

Scope of the Role

• Provide technical expertise and support to identify root causes of incidents and deviations
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent reoccurrence of incidents and deviations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate investigations and ensure timely resolution of issues
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential areas of improvement in manufacturing processes Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools to drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements to enhance continuousimprovement efforts.

Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree preferably in engineering, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or related field.
• Knowledge of principles, concepts and practices in pharmaceutical sciences and manufacturing processes.
• Well-developed interpersonal, organization and communication skills, ability to work effectively with staffmembers at all levels, strong technical writing skills, familiarity with cGMP and FDA regulations.
• Familiarity with cGMP, FDA regulations, including experience with investigations and/or developing andrecommending process improvements.
• Computer literacy with a working knowledge Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), and SAP experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent projects with minimal guidance and to meet project deadlines.
