Job summary

Mission Critical Group in the United States is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence across the Engineering organization. You will lead process optimization, standardization, waste elimination, and automation initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and scalability.

The role collaborates with all engineering functions to identify opportunities and implement sustainable solutions that support growth; travel to MCG locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 5 to 8+ years of engineering, operations, manufacturing, or continuous improvement experience.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence certification preferred.
• Experience within ETO manufacturing, electrical equipment, switchgear, or industrial engineering environments preferred.
• Strong analytical and change management skills.

• Analyze engineering workflows and identify opportunities to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
• Develop and maintain engineering procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.

Job Description

The Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for driving operational excellence across the Engineering organization through process optimization, standardization, waste elimination, and automation initiatives. This role develops engineering workflows, procedures, performance metrics, and governance systems to improve quality, efficiency, and scalability. The position works closely with all engineering functions to identify improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions that support business growth.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• The work environment is primarily office-based, with a quiet to moderate noise level and traditional lighting.
• Wear the proper PPE when visiting warehouses or transportation facilities.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and operating a computer.
• Ability to lift to 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to travel between MCG locations as needed. Some travel could require overnight stays.
