Job summary

Metric is partnering with a large Denver-based manufacturer to hire a Continuous Improvement Engineer who will join the site’s engineering and manufacturing leadership. The role focuses on delivering productivity gains, reducing downtime, and improving quality through Lean methods and structured problem solving.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing or continuous improvement engineering experience at a manufacturing site.
• Engineering degree.
• Kaizen or Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Proven experience improving manufacturing and process systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, quality and overall equipment effectiveness across the manufacturing site.
• Lead structured problem-solving activities using data and root-cause analysis to eliminate waste, reduce downtime and prevent recurring issues.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing methodologies and tools, including 5S, Kaizen, standard work and process optimisation, to drive sustainable improvements.
• Lead improvement projects from concept through implementation, collaborating with production, engineering, quality and other stakeholders.

Metric are currently partnered with a large and continually growing manufacturer within Denver who are looking for a strong Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their growing engineering and manufacturing leadership at the Site.

The role will include but not limited to the below:

• Process Improvement: Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, quality and overall equipment effectiveness across the manufacturing site.
• Problem Solving: Lead structured problem-solving activities, using data and root-cause analysis to eliminate waste, reduce downtime and prevent recurring issues.
• Lean Manufacturing: Implement Lean Manufacturing methodologies and tools, including 5S, Kaizen, standard work and process optimisation, to drive sustainable improvements.
• Project Delivery: Lead improvement projects from initial concept through to implementation, working collaboratively with production, engineering, quality and other key stakeholders.

To be considered you must have the following:

• 2+ years of manufacturing and or continuous improvement engineering experience within a manufacturing site.
• Degree educated within an Engineering field.
• Kaizen or Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Proven experience improving manufacturing and process systems.
