Job summary

Dover Food Retail seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive measurable improvements across operations, support functions, and site initiatives. The role involves coaching lean capabilities, leading Kaizen actions, and applying problem-solving methods to reduce waste.

The ideal candidate will have strong cross-functional collaboration skills, proven Lean/OPEX experience, and the ability to lead / co-lead upgrades and capital projects.

Qualifications

  • Ideally 5 to 7 years of Continuous Improvement experience.
  • Experience with Lean fundamentals (5S, DM, VSM, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke).
  • Experience leading Kaizen events and a Kaizen Promotion Office (KPO).
  • Cross-functional experience in Operations / Material Flow / Supply Chain / Product Development.
  • 2+ years Project Management experience.
  • People management or production supervision experience.
  • Strong MS Office skills.

Expectations include co-owning strategy and tactical development and execution for site initiatives and coaching lean capabilities within the organization. The CI Engineer will work as an individual contributor, team facilitator and/or coach.
