Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Supervisor, Production – Fabrication for the 3rd shift in South Chesterfield, VA. This role leads front-line associates, ensures safety, maintains schedules, and drives quality improvements across production.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a supervisory role and 5+ years in manufacturing, with strong MS Office skills and the ability to work extended hours when needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership position (team lead, supervisor, shift lead, etc.).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willing to work extended and/or weekend hours when required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to team leaders and hourly production staff, ensuring safety and quality.
  • Develop, implement, and audit daily standard work.
  • Drive continuous improvement; perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Maintain production schedule and inventory controls for raw materials.
  • Coordinate with supply chain, quality, shipping and other departments to meet targets.
  • Record timekeeping accurately in ADP and enforce safety rules.
